Loved it so much. Bought it in and had it for five years. It was a guzzler by European standards but built like a tank, powerful and comfortable. Made me fell relaxed in bad traffic situations, had huge armchairs instead of front seats: I'm an enthusiast so i had it just 'cause i liked it. Volvo — My car is very stable on the road, has a strong brakes, handling is very good.

Its appearance is a bit classic but sometimes it seems very sporty. Finally, you will feel very safe during driving, but this doesn't allow you to not fasten ur seat bels.

The 92 Wagon: A Fun Drive — The is an amazing car. I think of it as a kind of trooper. It never gave up on me. Mine was a manual, and shifting was easy and good for performance and mpg. I can't say that I have felt more safe in a car, beside maybe my suburban. However the car is slow as hell. But I didn't buy it for speed. I bought it for reliability and fuel economy. I really appreciate the solidity of the car, it's just so well put together and simple.

I bought it with k miles. It now has k miles and just keeps going. Doesn't leak anything or use any oil, great car. It is also iconic and easy to spot in a parking lot or anywhere for that matter.

Had hardly a minute's trouble with it. Only routine maintenance and minor repairs. Likely the best engine ever built by Volvo or anyone else for durability. Never burned or leaked oil. The car was exceptionally reliable. It was truly "the brick" workhorse it was reputed to be. The design had both class and simplicity. It hugged the road and turned on a dime. Perfectly balanced, It was doubtless the safest car of its time, perhaps still is. Through many years our family owned a s Amazon , a , four sedans, a wagon and sedan, and a wagon.

The best of them all was the wagon. Had it not gotten rusty around the edges from too much salt on the roads, I would still be driving it. I replaced it with a XC70 for all-wheel drive in the mountains. And I'm looking now to purchase another '92 wagon for old and new times sake. They can drive it from the church to the cemetery with me in it, roses on top! Too many positives to name them all. But most of all, safe and reliable.

Somewhat sluggish but steady and predictable on the takeoff and the pass. A Volvo Wagon is one of those cars that defies logic. A slow, boxy, minimalist station wagon, which changed very little over its 18 year production run should not inspire great enthusiasm.

My wagon is awesome I purchased my '91 as a commuter and winter car. For what you pay, it drives better than many newer vehicles and has some features like seat warmers, rear floor air vents, air conditioning, lumba The secret is what's under the bonnet It's what you would call a "sleeper". This is definitely a keeper, it's resale value is crap but it's sentimental value is through the roof.

A dream car wh I've been looking for one for years and I've finally found one! Couldn't be more please with my purchase. I've never driven a stick before and I probably shouldn't be learning on a car like this but w Did not get the pleasure of driving for to long due to the fact I was not car savvy.
